Structural Components

A typical configuration comprises a structural frame, weighing platform, side panels, entry and exit gates, gate controls, a weighing mechanism and a weight indicator. Drafting gates, handling-race connections and mobility features can be configured for the project.

Working Principle

A lamb enters the crate from the race and stands on the weighing platform while the gates control its movement. The weighing mechanism transfers the load to the selected indicator. After the reading is recorded, the operator opens the appropriate exit or drafting gate. The crate should be placed on a stable, level surface and operated in accordance with the supplied weighing system instructions.
