| Product Overview |
The Electronic Balance for Pig Artificial Insemination is a compact laboratory weighing instrument designed for boar studs, pig artificial insemination centers, semen processing laboratories and commercial breeding farms. With a maximum weighing capacity of 2000 g and a readability of 0.1 g, the balance is suitable for routine weighing of collected boar ejaculates, semen containers and materials used during semen processing. Accurate and repeatable weighing helps laboratory personnel standardize semen handling, dilution and dose preparation procedures. The unit features a clear green digital display, simple controls, counting functionality and automatic calibration. Its compact benchtop design makes it suitable for daily use alongside microscopes, photometers, semen analyzers, water baths, filling machines and other pig AI laboratory equipment. |

| Working Principle |
The balance measures the load placed on the weighing platform and converts the mechanical force into an electronic signal. The internal electronic system processes the signal and displays the measured mass digitally in grams. During boar semen collection, an empty collection container can first be weighed or zeroed according to the laboratory procedure. The container containing the collected ejaculate is then placed on the balance to determine the net semen mass. Where a validated laboratory protocol uses gravimetric estimation of semen volume, the measured semen mass can be incorporated into subsequent calculations for dilution and semen-dose preparation. The measurement should always follow the AI center's established operating procedure and quality-control requirements. The balance can also be used for general weighing operations during semen processing, including checking containers and prepared materials before dilution, packaging or laboratory analysis. |
