Product Name 7-Inch LCD Microscope for Boar Semen Analysis
Product Image 7-inch LCD microscope for boar semen analysis and pig artificial insemination laboratory
Product Overview

The 7-Inch LCD Microscope for Boar Semen Analysis is a digital biological microscope developed for routine sperm observation and semen quality control in pig artificial insemination centers, commercial boar studs, genetics facilities and veterinary reproduction laboratories.

The microscope combines conventional optical magnification with a 7-inch high-definition true-color LCD display, allowing operators to view sperm samples directly on the screen instead of relying only on an eyepiece. This improves observation convenience, reduces operator fatigue and makes it easier for multiple technicians to review the same sample.

A temperature-controlled microscope stage maintains approximately 38°C during semen examination. Maintaining an appropriate sample temperature is especially important when evaluating sperm motility because boar sperm movement can be affected by temperature changes.

With 4X, 10X and 40X objectives, adjustable magnification, LED illumination, coaxial focusing and video output capability, the microscope provides a practical solution for routine boar semen examination and laboratory training.

The microscope integrates a 7-inch LCD display, monocular observation tube, triple objective nosepiece, mechanical stage, temperature-controlled platform, coaxial focusing system and adjustable LED illumination in a compact benchtop configuration.

The complete system can be used with microscope slides, cover glasses, semen pipettes and other laboratory accessories for routine boar semen examination and artificial insemination laboratory workflows.

  • Adjustable LED Illumination: Provides stable transmitted light while allowing operators to adjust illumination according to sample conditions.
  • Variable Aperture Condenser: Supports adjustment of illumination and contrast for microscopic specimens.
  • Digital Display Workflow: Screen-based observation can improve operator comfort and facilitate training or sample discussion.
  • Video and Computer Connectivity: Supplied with AV video connection and computer conversion accessories for compatible external display applications.
Working Principle

A small amount of prepared boar semen is placed on a clean microscope slide or compatible semen observation chamber. A cover glass may be applied according to the laboratory's testing procedure, and the prepared sample is positioned on the microscope stage.

The temperature-controlled stage maintains the sample at approximately 38°C. Stable sample temperature helps reduce temperature-related changes in sperm movement during routine motility observation.

LED light passes through the condenser and semen sample. The selected objective lens magnifies the sperm cells, while the optical and digital imaging system transfers the microscopic image to the integrated 7-inch LCD screen.

The operator adjusts coarse and fine focus, illumination intensity and objective magnification until sperm cells are clearly visible. Multiple microscopic fields can then be examined to assess sperm movement, distribution, general morphology and visible contamination.

When connected through compatible video or computer accessories, the microscope image may also be displayed on an external monitor or computer for demonstration and laboratory documentation applications.
