Product Overview

The Heavy-Duty Duck & Goose Feeder is a robust gravity-fed poultry feeder designed for ducks, geese, chickens and other suitable poultry species. Its low-profile, double-sided feeding structure provides convenient access for larger waterfowl while offering sufficient feeding space for group feeding.

The feeder combines a zinc-plated steel body, transparent side panels, adjustable support legs, anti-spill feeding edges and removable rain guards. The open feeding sides allow birds to access feed freely, while the smooth feed-retaining structure helps reduce unnecessary feed loss.

Suitable for commercial poultry farms, breeder facilities, free-range units and livestock equipment projects, the feeder can be used inside conventional or steel structure poultry buildings and in sheltered outdoor feeding areas.

Key Features
  • Heavy-duty metal construction: Zinc-plated steel body provides strength and corrosion resistance for everyday poultry farm use.
  • Double-sided feeding: Open feeding areas on both sides provide convenient access for larger groups of ducks, geese or chickens.
  • Anti-spill feeding edge: Smooth feed-retaining bars help limit feed being pulled or pushed outside the feeder.
  • Adjustable height: Multi-position support legs allow the feeding height to be adapted to different bird sizes.
  • Visible feed level: Transparent UV-resistant side panels allow operators to monitor the remaining feed without opening the feeder.
  • Outdoor protection: Removable rain guards help protect exposed feeding areas during suitable outdoor use.
  • Easy handling: Integrated handles make the feeder easier to reposition during farm management and cleaning.
  • Hygienic structure: Plastic corner components and accessible surfaces simplify routine cleaning.
  • Anti-perching top: Sloped upper sections help discourage birds from standing on the feeder.

  • Double-sided open feeding areas
  • Smooth anti-spill feed retaining bars
  • Transparent UV-resistant side panels
  • Adjustable support legs
  • Removable rain guards

Working Principle

Dry poultry feed is loaded into the upper hopper. Gravity moves the feed downward to the double-sided feeding openings where ducks, geese or chickens can access the ration.

As birds consume feed, additional material moves from the hopper into the feeding area. The smooth retaining bar limits the amount of feed that can be pushed or pulled outside the feeder during normal feeding activity.

The support legs can be adjusted to position the feeding opening at a suitable height for the target birds. For outdoor applications, rain guards can be fitted to improve protection of the exposed feed area.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation: Position the feeder on a stable, level floor inside the poultry house or suitable sheltered outdoor feeding area. Install the support legs, lid and rain guards securely before filling.

Height Adjustment: Adjust the support legs according to the body size of ducks, geese or chickens so birds can access feed comfortably while limiting contamination from litter.

Feed Management: Check the feed level through the transparent side panels and refill the hopper as required. Keep dry feed protected from excessive moisture.

Maintenance: Remove residual feed regularly, clean the feeding openings and internal surfaces, inspect adjustable legs and fasteners, and dry the feeder thoroughly before refilling.
