Working Principle

The operator positions the crate on a firm, level floor, opens an access door and guides a piglet into the cage. After the door is secured, the weighing system displays the animal’s weight. The cage can then be raised to a suitable working height for inspection or routine treatment. The operator lowers the cage before opening the door to remove the piglet. Lifting and weighing procedures should follow the supplied operating instructions.

Installation & Maintenance

Remove manure and debris after use, clean according to the electrical components’ protection requirements, and inspect wheels, lifting parts, fasteners and weighing components at regular intervals. Calibrate the scale as required by the farm’s weighing procedures and applicable local rules.
