Structural Components The proposed assembly comprises a single-animal weighing passage, supported platform and load cells, entry gate, controlled exit and diversion gates, guide panels, electronic controller and associated wiring. Gate actuators, air supply components, one-way gates and identification accessories are specified according to the selected configuration.
Working Principle A pig enters the weighing passage from the group pen. The entry arrangement separates it from following animals while the platform measures its weight. The controller compares the accepted reading with the programmed sort limits and operates the appropriate gate to guide the pig into the designated route. The layout must provide suitable return paths and access to feed and water for every group.

Customization Options Exit count and orientation, gate arrangement, passage dimensions, panel materials, controller functions, animal identification and data connectivity can be reviewed against the farm plan. Interfaces with penning, feeding equipment and a steel structure building are designed according to local climate and farm conditions.
Installation & Maintenance Install the weighing passage on a stable, level base and align the entry and exits with the pen divisions. Route cables and, where applicable, air lines away from pigs and washdown areas. Commission the load cells and gate sequence after installation. Routine work includes cleaning the platform, removing manure around moving parts, checking gate travel and sensors, and verifying weighing calibration according to the supplied equipment instructions.

Yes. The exit layout and available sorting rules depend on the selected configuration and barn design.

Can it be installed in an existing finishing barn?
A retrofit is possible after checking pen circulation, floor levels, gate clearance, utilities and access for cleaning.

Is RFID identification required?
No for basic weight-based sorting. Individual identification can be evaluated as an optional function where compatible equipment is specified.
