Product Overview The Easy-Service Manure Progressive Cavity Pump is intended for the controlled transfer of livestock manure, slurry and prepared organic feedstock. Its positive displacement pumping principle suits applications requiring steady flow through a connected pipeline. A service-focused equipment layout helps farm operators reach routine wear parts while planning maintenance around the operating schedule of a commercial pig farm or biogas facility.
Key Features
  • Continuous, low-pulsation transfer for manure handling and process feeding.
  • Service clearance can be incorporated around the rotor-stator assembly and shaft seal.
  • Rotor, stator and sealing materials can be selected for the specified slurry and operating duty.
  • Inlet, outlet, drive and base arrangements can be coordinated with the farm's pipework and equipment room.
  • Suitable for integration with manure collection, separation and biogas preparation systems after application review.
Structural Components A typical assembly comprises a suction housing, helical rotor, elastomer stator, coupling or joint assembly, shaft seal, discharge housing, geared drive and mounting base. The service-access arrangement and method of removing wear parts are determined by the selected pump design; they should be confirmed in the technical drawing before order placement.
Working Principle The drive rotates a helical rotor eccentrically within a stationary stator. Progressing cavities carry manure from the suction side to the discharge side, producing a relatively uniform flow. Operating speed, rotor-stator geometry and material selection are matched to the required capacity, discharge pressure and manure characteristics.
Technical Specifications
  • Flow rate and discharge pressure: According to project requirements
  • Motor power and operating speed: Available upon request
  • Inlet and outlet connections: Customizable
  • Rotor, stator and seal materials: Selected for the specified media
  • Installation dimensions and service clearance: According to approved drawings
Applications Potential duties include moving pig manure from a collection tank, transferring mixed livestock slurry to storage or separation equipment, and feeding prepared organic suspension into a biogas process. The allowable solids and fiber content must be checked for the selected pump; upstream screening or cutting may be needed where large foreign objects are present.
Customization Options Available design choices may include corrosion-resistant wetted parts, alternative elastomers, seal arrangements, geared motors, speed control, flange standards and mounting orientation. The pump station can be designed according to local climate and farm conditions, including access within a steel structure service building or beside a concrete manure pit.
Installation & Maintenance Mount the pump on a stable foundation and support the connected pipes independently. Reserve the clearance shown on the approved drawing for rotor, stator and seal service. During commissioning, verify rotation direction, inlet supply and seal operation. Inspect wear parts according to operating hours and slurry abrasiveness, and prevent dry running. Isolate and depressurize the system before opening it for maintenance.
Product FAQ

What makes the pump easier to service?
The installation and pump configuration can provide planned access to the main wear parts. The exact removal procedure depends on the model supplied.

Can it handle abrasive manure?
It can be specified for abrasive duties, but rotor-stator materials, speed and expected wear must be evaluated against the actual manure.

What is needed for pump selection?
Provide the manure composition, solids and fiber content, required flow, pipe diameter and length, elevation difference, power supply and installation drawing.
