| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The electronic sensor located in the probe detects temperature and converts the measurement into a digital signal. The internal processor calculates the value and displays it on the LCD screen. For veterinary rectal measurement, the probe is positioned carefully according to appropriate livestock-handling practice. Once the sensor reaches a stable reading, the thermometer produces an audible completion signal and the measured temperature can be read directly from the display. Temperature readings should be interpreted together with the lamb's age, behavior, feeding activity and clinical condition. Persistent abnormal temperature requires veterinary assessment. |
