Structural Components

The typical assembly comprises a weighing platform, protective pen frame, entry and exit gates, load cells, an RFID antenna and reader, a digital weight indicator, and a power and data interface. Working Principle

The calf enters the pen one at a time. Load cells measure the force applied to the platform while the RFID reader detects a compatible electronic ear tag. The indicator processes the live-animal weight reading and associates it with the detected ID. The operator then confirms or stores the record according to the chosen software and data interface.
