Product Name Quick-Release Cow Immobilizer
Product Image quick-release adjustable cow immobilizer anti-kick bar
Product Overview The Quick-Release Cow Immobilizer is an adjustable anti-kick restraint designed to improve operator control when working with dairy and beef cattle. Positioned around the cow's hindquarter area, the tubular restraint limits excessive kicking movement during procedures such as milking, veterinary examination, treatment and routine livestock management.

A quick-release adjustment system allows the unit to be opened or resized even when it is under tension. The angled locking arrangement helps prevent accidental opening, while a clearly marked lower end assists with correct positioning.

Galvanized steel and stainless steel versions are available for different farm, veterinary and distributor requirements.
Key Features
  • Quick-Release Adjustment: Allows fast opening and size adjustment, including when the restraint is under load.
  • Anti-Kick Restraint: Helps limit hindquarter movement and reduce kicking risk during close-contact cattle procedures.
  • Angled Locking Arrangement: Inclined adjustment positions help prevent the restraint from opening unintentionally.
  • Adjustable Fit: Telescopic construction accommodates different cattle body sizes.
  • Simple Positioning: Compact tubular construction allows fast installation by trained livestock personnel.
  • Reinforced Tube Construction: Heavy-duty metal tubing provides stability for repeated livestock use.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Options: Galvanized metal and stainless steel versions are available.
  • Serviceable Components: Springs, caps and locking components can be replaced according to maintenance requirements.
Structural Components
  • Heavy-duty bent tubular restraint frame
  • Telescopic adjustment section
  • Quick-release locking mechanism
  • Multi-position adjustment slots
  • Locking and retaining pin assembly
  • Spring components
  • Protective end caps
  • Animal-contact support sections
Working Principle The immobilizer is positioned over and around the cow's hindquarter area and adjusted to fit the individual animal. Once correctly fitted, the tubular frame limits the range of movement available for a forceful backward or sideways kick.

The telescopic section allows the operator to adapt the restraint to different animal sizes. Its quick-release mechanism can be opened or adjusted under tension, helping the operator remove unnecessary pressure without first forcing the animal or restraint into another position.

The device is intended as a temporary anti-kick aid and does not replace a cattle crush, head gate or other primary restraint system when full-body immobilization is required.
