The Poultry Carcass Rendering Plant is a configurable equipment line for processing poultry carcasses and selected slaughter or processing by-products. Depending on the feedstock and required output, the line can combine enclosed receiving, size reduction, thermal processing, fat separation, meal cooling and milling, together with vapor and odor management.

The layout can be planned for a dedicated processing building or integrated into a larger livestock equipment and farm waste management project. Equipment arrangement, access platforms and service routes can be coordinated with a steel structure building and the site's material collection workflow.

Working Principle

Collected poultry material is received and reduced to a suitable size before entering the thermal processing stage. Controlled heating processes and dries the material under the selected operating method. Cooked solids can then pass through fat separation, cooling and milling to produce a meal fraction, while recovered fat is collected separately. Vapors and condensate are routed to the specified treatment equipment. The exact process flow depends on the raw materials, intended outputs and applicable local requirements.

Feathers and blood have different processing characteristics. Dedicated hydrolysis or blood processing equipment may be required when those streams are included in the project.
