| Product Overview |
The Semen Thaw Cup is a compact temperature-controlled water-bath unit designed for thawing frozen semen straws before livestock artificial insemination. It provides a stable warm-water environment to support standardized semen preparation in dairy farms, beef cattle operations, breeding centers and mobile A.I. service programs. The unit combines a water chamber, thermostatic control system, heating element, protective housing and convenient carrying structure. AC and DC power configurations can be supplied for stationary breeding-room operation and mobile field use. A typical cattle semen thawing configuration maintains the water bath at approximately 95–98°F. Actual thawing temperature and exposure time should always follow the semen supplier's recommended protocol. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Clean water is added to the thawing chamber and heated by an integrated electric heating element. A temperature sensor monitors the water bath while the thermostat automatically controls heater operation to maintain the required temperature range. Once the water reaches the target temperature, frozen semen straws are transferred from the liquid nitrogen storage tank into the warm-water bath. After the specified thawing period, the straws are removed, dried and prepared for artificial insemination. For reliable reproductive management, thawing temperature and time should be determined according to the semen processor or breeding organization's instructions. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Installation: Place the thaw cup on a stable and dry working surface or suitable position inside a breeding service vehicle. Fill the chamber with clean water to the recommended level and connect the correct power source. Operation: Allow the unit to reach the required water temperature before inserting semen straws. Verify the temperature before use and follow the semen supplier's thawing instructions. Cleaning: Disconnect the electrical supply before draining or cleaning. Empty the water after use and wipe the chamber and external surfaces clean. Routine Inspection: Regularly check the power cord, adapters, temperature sensor, housing and lid. Keep electrical connections dry and replace damaged components before further operation. Storage: Store the unit clean and dry, away from freezing conditions, excessive impact and aggressive farm chemicals. |
