| Product Name | Shielded Load Cell Cable |
| Product Image | ![]() Representative image; supplied cable appearance may vary by configuration. |
| Product Overview | Shielded Load Cell Cable provides a protected electrical connection between compatible load cells, junction boxes and weighing indicators. It is suited to new installations and cable replacement in commercial pig farms, livestock weighing stations and agricultural facilities. The conductor arrangement and protective jacket are selected according to the weighing equipment and installation environment. |
| Key Features |
|
| Structural Components | A typical assembly comprises insulated conductors, an overall metallic shield and an outer protective jacket. Conductor material, shielding construction and jacket material depend on the selected specification. Cable glands, conduit or protective sleeves can be specified separately for the installation. |
| Working Principle | The cable carries excitation power to the load cell and returns its measurement signal to the weighing indicator. In a compatible six-wire system, two additional sense conductors allow the indicator to monitor excitation voltage at the load cell or junction box. The shield helps reduce interference along the signal path. |
| Technical Specifications |
|
| Applications | Pig weighing crates, livestock platform scales, poultry weighing equipment, feed silo weighing systems, hopper scales and other farm installations that use compatible load cells. It can also serve as a replacement cable during weighing system maintenance or refurbishment. |
| Customization Options | Cable length, conductor configuration, jacket type and end preparation can be discussed according to project requirements. Share the load cell model, indicator model, wiring diagram, cable route and farm conditions for selection. |
| Installation & Maintenance | Route the cable away from power wiring and moving equipment. Protect exposed runs against abrasion and animal contact, provide strain relief, and seal entries into junction boxes and indicators. Terminate each conductor and the shield according to the equipment manufacturer's wiring instructions. After replacement, inspect the connections and verify the scale calibration. |
