Product Showcase Content
Product Name HYDRAULIC SCISSOR LIFT PIG WEIGHING PLATFORM
Product Image Hydraulic Scissor Lift Pig Weighing Platform
Product Overview The Hydraulic Scissor Lift Pig Weighing Platform integrates livestock weighing and height-adjustable pig loading into one heavy-duty system. It is designed for large commercial pig farms, livestock collection areas and slaughterhouse receiving facilities where animals need to be weighed and transferred between different platform or vehicle heights.

The standard configuration features a 2 × 3 m weighing platform, 3-ton capacity, reinforced guardrails and hydraulic scissor lifting up to approximately 2.6 m. Wireless remote control allows operators to adjust lifting height and movement, while the fixed weighing structure supports stable and repeatable weight measurement.

Key Features
  • Weighing and Lifting in One System: Combines animal weighing with adjustable-height loading to reduce repeated pig handling.
  • 3-Ton Weighing Capacity: Heavy-duty platform is suitable for group weighing and commercial pig-handling operations.
  • 2.6 m Lifting Height: Hydraulic scissor mechanism adapts the loading platform to different truck or transfer heights.
  • Wireless Remote Control: Allows convenient control of lifting height and movement during loading operations.
  • Reinforced Guardrails: High-strength surrounding rails help guide pigs and reduce escape risk during weighing and lifting.
  • Stable Weighing Structure: Fixed scale-body design supports consistent livestock weighing performance.
  • AC/DC Weighing Indicator: Standard indicator supports dual power operation for flexible farm use.
  • Limit Protection: Lifting system includes limit control and automatic power cut-off at the designated position.
  • Customizable Configuration: Platform dimensions and weighing indicators can be selected according to project requirements.
Working Principle Pigs enter the guarded platform and their weight is measured through the integrated electronic weighing system. The digital indicator displays the measured load while the animals remain contained within the reinforced platform.

When loading or unloading is required, the hydraulic power unit actuates the scissor mechanism to raise or lower the complete platform. The operator can use the wireless remote control to match the platform height with a livestock truck, loading dock or transfer passage. Limit control stops the lifting movement at the designated position.

Installation & Maintenance
  • Install the equipment on a level, solid foundation capable of supporting the complete machine and rated load.
  • Level the weighing structure carefully before calibration to maintain stable weighing performance.
  • Verify hydraulic hoses, cylinders, fittings and connections before operation.
  • Test lifting, lowering, wireless control and limit protection before animals enter the platform.
  • Keep the platform surface clean and free from manure, mud and materials that may affect animal footing.
  • Inspect guardrails, welds, pivots, pins and scissor components regularly for looseness or damage.
  • Check hydraulic oil level and maintain the hydraulic power unit according to the service schedule.
  • Calibrate the weighing system periodically according to farm management or trade-weighing requirements.
  • Never exceed the rated 3-ton load or allow personnel beneath a raised platform.
  • Disconnect power and mechanically secure the platform before maintenance beneath the lifting structure.
