| Product Name | Flexible PVC Ventilation Duct for Pig Farms |
| Product Image | ![]() |
| Product Overview | The Flexible PVC Ventilation Duct is designed for fan-assisted air supply, exhaust, and temporary or permanent air-transfer connections in pig houses, livestock buildings, agricultural workshops, and farm ventilation systems. The duct body is manufactured from thickened three-layer PVC reinforced mesh fabric. This flexible composite structure combines low weight with mechanical reinforcement and provides good sealing, waterproof performance, resistance to common farm chemicals, and practical durability in livestock environments. A heavy spiral wire frame supports the entire duct and helps maintain its circular airflow passage while allowing the hose to bend, compress, extend, and follow different installation routes. Black abrasion-resistant protective strips are wrapped around the outside of the spiral structure to reduce wear when the duct contacts floors, walls, frames, or equipment. Available in approximately 400 mm and 500 mm diameters, the duct can be connected to compatible axial fans, centrifugal fans, air-transfer equipment, or ventilation openings. Final duct diameter and length should be selected according to required airflow, fan pressure, installation distance, and livestock-house ventilation design. |

|
| Working Principle | The flexible ventilation duct works together with a compatible fan or air-handling system. When the fan operates, the pressure difference generated by the fan moves air through the internal passage of the duct. In fresh-air applications, the duct transfers outside or conditioned air from the fan toward the required area of the pig house. In exhaust applications, contaminated, warm, humid, or stale air can be transferred toward an appropriate discharge point. The internal spiral wire frame prevents the flexible fabric from collapsing excessively under normal operating conditions, while allowing the duct to curve around structural obstacles and equipment. Correct system performance depends on matching the duct diameter, duct length, bends, fan airflow, static pressure, and outlet arrangement. Excessive duct resistance or an undersized diameter can reduce airflow and increase pressure losses. |
| Technical Specifications |
The current product specification lists heat resistance up to approximately 120°C. Continuous operating temperature can differ from short-term temperature resistance and should be confirmed before use in high-temperature applications. Exact duct length, wire diameter, pressure rating, flame-retardant standard, connection method, and customized sizes should be confirmed before ordering. |
