| Product Overview |
The Pig Catching Tongs and Pig Catching Rake are manual livestock handling tools designed for controlled short-duration restraint and positioning of pigs in commercial swine farms, breeding facilities and veterinary operations. The long-handle construction increases the operator's working reach, while the specialized catching heads help control an individual pig without requiring the handler to remain immediately beside the animal. Two different catching structures are available: a mechanical clamp-style catcher and a multi-prong catching rake, allowing farms to select a configuration according to pig size, pen layout and handling requirements. |

| Working Principle |
The catching-tong version uses a long mechanical linkage between the hand grip and catching jaws. When the operator actuates the handle, the jaws close to provide temporary restraint during controlled handling. The catching-rake version uses a long rigid pole and curved multi-prong head to assist with positioning or controlling pigs in a confined handling area. Both tools should be used gently by trained personnel and should not be used to lift or suspend an animal. |
