Product Showcase Content
Product Name LIVESTOCK INFRARED HEAT LAMP SERIES
Product Image Livestock Infrared Heat Lamp Series
Product Overview The Livestock Infrared Heat Lamp Series provides localized radiant heating for piglets, chicks, lambs, kids and other young animals requiring supplemental warmth. The product range includes clear smooth bulbs, clear dimpled bulbs, red smooth bulbs, red dimpled bulbs, ruby halogen lamps and adjustable heat-lamp assemblies.

Multiple power options allow farms to select suitable heating intensity according to animal age, housing conditions and seasonal temperature. The lamps are particularly suitable for creep areas, farrowing pens, brooding zones and other localized livestock heating applications.

Key Features
  • Multiple Lamp Types: Clear, dimpled, red and halogen configurations are available for different livestock heating requirements.
  • Wide Power Range: Standard infrared bulbs are available from 100 W to 275 W, while ruby halogen models are available from 200 W to 500 W.
  • Localized Radiant Heating: Directs thermal energy toward the animal resting area instead of heating the entire livestock building.
  • Fast Warm-Up: Infrared and halogen heating provides rapid localized warmth after switching on.
  • Clear and Red Options: Clear lamps provide more visible light, while red lamps provide lower visible brightness for livestock areas.
  • Adjustable Heating Options: Selected E27 halogen models provide 100–300 W stepless adjustment, while reflector-type lamps provide three heating levels.
  • Durable Lamp Options: Dimpled and reinforced lamp constructions are designed for demanding agricultural environments.
  • No On-Site Combustion: Electric heat lamps provide localized heat without burning gas or liquid fuel at the heating point.
Working Principle Electrical energy heats the internal filament or halogen heating element. The lamp converts part of this energy into infrared radiation, which travels directly toward animals, flooring and nearby surfaces and is converted into heat when absorbed.

When used with a suitable reflector, the radiant energy can be concentrated toward a defined creep or brooding area. Heating intensity can be managed by selecting the appropriate lamp wattage, adjusting the mounting height, or using an adjustable lamp model where available.

Installation & Maintenance
  • Use a heat-lamp fixture, socket and electrical circuit rated for the selected bulb wattage.
  • Suspend the lamp securely using suitable primary and secondary supports to prevent accidental falling.
  • Maintain safe clearance from bedding, straw, plastic panels, curtains, feed bags and other combustible materials.
  • Adjust mounting height according to animal temperature requirements and the instructions for the selected lamp and reflector.
  • Prevent adult animals from contacting, striking or pulling the lamp, cord or fixture.
  • Protect electrical connections from water, moisture and high-pressure washing.
  • Do not spray cold water directly onto a hot bulb unless the specific lamp is explicitly rated for such exposure.
  • Inspect bulbs, sockets, cords, guards and hanging hardware regularly for heat damage or wear.
  • Disconnect electrical power and allow the lamp to cool completely before replacement or maintenance.
  • Replace cracked, loose or damaged bulbs and electrical components immediately.
Product FAQ

Q: What wattages are available for the standard infrared bulbs?
A: Clear, dimpled and red bulb models are available in 100, 150, 175, 200, 250 and 275 W versions.

Q: Are halogen models available?
A: Yes. The series includes ruby halogen lamps rated from approximately 200 to 500 W.

Q: Is adjustable heating available?
A: Yes. One E27 halogen version provides 100–300 W stepless adjustment, while another E27 reflector model provides three heating levels.

Q: What animals can use heat lamps?
A: They are commonly used for localized warming of piglets, chicks, lambs, kids and other young livestock according to species and environmental requirements.

Q: What is the difference between clear and red lamps?
A: Both provide radiant heat. Clear lamps provide more visible illumination, while red lamps reduce visible brightness in the heated area.

Q: Can a heat lamp warm an entire livestock house?
A: Heat lamps are primarily intended for localized animal warming. Whole-building heating normally requires a dedicated heating and ventilation system.

Q: How high should the lamp be installed?
A: The correct height depends on lamp wattage, reflector design, animal age and target temperature. Follow the supplied fixture and lamp instructions rather than using a fixed universal distance.

Q: What is the most important installation precaution?
A: Secure the lamp properly and maintain adequate clearance from bedding and other combustible materials to reduce fire and burn risks.
