Product Name PIGLET RED INFRARED HEAT LAMP BULB
Product Image Piglet Red Infrared Heat Lamp Bulb
Product Overview The Piglet Red Infrared Heat Lamp Bulb is designed to provide localized radiant warmth for piglets and other young animals during cold weather, farrowing, neonatal care and supplementary brooding.

Made with reinforced hard quartz glass, an aluminum alloy lamp base and a quality heating filament, the bulb provides rapid heat response while directing infrared energy toward the animal resting area. Multiple power options from 100 W to 275 W are available.
Product Gallery Red infrared heat bulb, reinforced hard-glass body, reflective lamp structure, screw-type lamp base and suspended livestock heating application.
Key Features
  • 100–275 W Power Options: Available in several outputs for different animal ages and heating requirements.
  • Infrared Radiant Heating: Transfers heat directly toward animals and resting surfaces for efficient localized warming.
  • Rapid Warm-Up: Heating filament provides fast radiant heat after the lamp is switched on.
  • Reinforced Hard Quartz Glass: Thickened bulb construction is designed for demanding livestock-house environments.
  • Red and Clear Options: Red versions reduce visible brightness, while clear versions are available for general heating applications.
  • Aluminum Alloy Lamp Base: Durable metal base provides reliable electrical and mechanical connection.
  • Localized Heating: Creates a warm zone without requiring the entire livestock building to be heated to the same temperature.
  • Livestock Application: Suitable for piglets, puppies, rabbits and other young animals requiring supplementary warmth.
Working Principle Electrical current heats the internal filament, which generates infrared radiant energy. The reflective bulb structure directs a large portion of this heat downward toward the animal resting area.

Unlike conventional space heating that primarily warms surrounding air, infrared radiation transfers thermal energy directly to animals and nearby surfaces. Heating intensity can be adjusted by selecting the appropriate bulb wattage and installation height.

Product FAQ

Q: What power options are available?
A: Available options are 100 W, 150 W, 200 W, 250 W and 275 W.

Q: What material is the bulb made from?
A: The listed construction uses reinforced hard quartz glass with an aluminum alloy lamp base.

Q: What is the difference between the red and clear versions?
A: Both provide radiant heating, while the red version reduces visible brightness and creates a softer red-light warming zone.

Q: Is it suitable for newborn piglets?
A: Yes. It is commonly used to create localized warm zones in farrowing pens and piglet creep areas.

Q: How should the correct wattage be selected?
A: Selection should consider ambient temperature, animal age, installation height, heated area and the thermal conditions required at animal level.

Q: Should a protective lamp shade be used?
A: Yes. A suitable reflector and protective guard are recommended for livestock installations to improve heat direction and reduce accidental contact.

Q: Can the bulb be exposed directly to water?
A: Electrical fittings should be kept dry, and hot bulbs should not be subjected to direct cold-water spray or rapid thermal shock.

Q: How is the product packed for bulk orders?
A: The listed standard packaging is 50 bulbs per carton.
