Lamb Colostrum Collection & Feeding Bottle Set

Product Name Lamb Colostrum Collection & Feeding Bottle Set
Product Image lamb colostrum collection and feeding bottle set
Product Overview

The Lamb Colostrum Collection & Feeding Bottle Set is a manual livestock care system designed for hygienic collection, temporary storage and feeding of ewe milk and colostrum. It is particularly useful during lambing when newborn, weak, orphaned or multiple-birth lambs require rapid access to colostrum.

The hand-operated vacuum pump connects directly to a collection bottle and uses interchangeable silicone teat inserts to accommodate different ewe teat sizes. After collection, the milk or colostrum can be retained in the collection bottle or fed to a lamb using the compatible bottle teat.

The compact system is suitable for commercial goat-farming-equipment/" target="_blank" class="keylink">sheep farms, lambing barns, breeding facilities, livestock veterinary operations and agricultural project supply. Its manual design requires no electrical power, making it practical for individual pens, maternity areas and remote livestock housing.

Key Features
  • Manual Vacuum Operation: A trigger-operated hand pump creates vacuum in the collection bottle without requiring electricity.
  • Colostrum Collection: Designed for hygienic collection of valuable first milk from ewes during the critical newborn feeding period.
  • Collection and Feeding in One System: Compatible collection bottles can also be used with a feeding teat for direct lamb feeding.
  • Multiple Bottle Sizes: The referenced complete set includes one 500 ml bottle and two 250 ml collection bottles.
  • Different Teat Sizes: Two silicone teat inserts are included to accommodate different ewe teat dimensions.
  • Hygienic Farm Management: Udder-cleaning cloths are included to support cleaner colostrum collection procedures.
  • Portable Design: Compact hand-operated equipment can be moved easily between lambing pens and maternity areas.
  • No Power Supply Required: Suitable for traditional livestock buildings, temporary lambing areas and remote farm locations.
  • Replaceable Components: Collection bottles, pump components and feeding teats can be replaced separately where compatible spare parts are available.
Structural Components
Manual Vacuum Pump Trigger-operated pump used to create controlled vacuum inside the collection bottle.
Collection Bottle Transparent bottle collects ewe milk or colostrum directly during pumping.
Extraction Cylinder Forms the connection between the ewe teat and the vacuum collection system.
Silicone Teat Inserts Flexible inserts in different sizes help adapt the extraction unit to varying teat dimensions.
Bottle Adapter Connects the teat extraction assembly to the collection bottle.
Feeding Teat Compatible teat allows collected milk or colostrum to be fed to newborn lambs.
Udder Cleaning Accessories Disposable udder cloths and a microfibre cleaning cloth are supplied with the referenced set.
Working Principle / Structural Principle

A suitable silicone insert is selected according to the ewe's teat size and positioned inside the extraction cylinder. The extraction unit is then placed securely over the teat.

Several movements of the hand trigger create a vacuum inside the connected collection bottle. The vacuum draws milk or colostrum gently from the teat and transfers it directly into the bottle.

After sufficient colostrum has been collected, the bottle can be removed from the pump assembly. A compatible feeding teat can then be installed when immediate feeding to a newborn lamb is required.

Because the milk is collected directly into a closed bottle, unnecessary transfer between open containers can be reduced, supporting more hygienic lambing management.
