| Product Overview |
The Wide Mouth Lamb Feeding Bottle is designed for hand-feeding orphan, rejected or supplementary-fed lambs and goat kids. The enlarged bottle opening makes it easier to add milk replacer, mix liquid feed and clean the interior thoroughly.
The translucent plastic body provides good visibility of the liquid contents, while measurement markings help operators prepare and monitor feeding quantities. The cap and teat assembly can be removed for cleaning and replacement.
For commercial sheep farms, the bottle can be used as an individual feeding tool or combined with a compatible bottle rack for group feeding management.
|
| Key Features |
- Wide-mouth opening: Makes filling, mixing milk replacer and internal cleaning more convenient.
- Clear feed visibility: The translucent bottle allows operators to monitor the remaining liquid.
- Readable measurements: Printed and molded graduations provide practical volume references.
- Replaceable teat assembly: The teat and cap can be removed for cleaning, inspection and replacement.

- Rack feeding compatible: Suitable bottle racks can support self-feeding applications for small groups of young livestock.
- Reusable livestock equipment: Designed for repeated cleaning and routine use during the lambing and rearing season.
|
| Structural Components |
The typical bottle assembly consists of:
- Wide-mouth translucent plastic bottle body
- Printed and/or molded volume graduations
- Threaded bottle neck
- Retaining cap assembly
- Sealing O-ring or washer
- Replaceable lamb or kid feeding teat
- Optional bottle rack for controlled self-feeding
Bottle material, color, teat specification, cap design, sealing components and packaging can be customizable according to project requirements.
|
| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Milk, colostrum or suitable liquid feed is prepared and poured through the wide bottle opening. The teat assembly is then secured to the bottle neck with the cap and sealing component correctly positioned.
During hand feeding, the lamb or goat kid suckles through the teat while the operator controls the bottle position. The teat provides a controlled outlet for the liquid feed and supports natural suckling behavior.
For rack-assisted feeding, the bottle can be placed teat-down in a compatible holder, allowing young animals to feed with reduced manual handling during routine farm work.

Assembly: Wash the bottle before use, remove the cap, fill with the required liquid feed and securely reinstall the teat and cap assembly.
Feeding: Position the teat appropriately for the young animal and allow natural suckling. Feeding quantities should follow the farm's livestock management program or professional veterinary guidance.
Cleaning: Disassemble the bottle, cap, seal and teat after feeding. Wash all components thoroughly with suitable cleaning equipment and allow them to dry before storage.
Maintenance: Inspect the teat, O-ring and threaded connection regularly. Replace worn, cracked or deformed components promptly to maintain hygienic feeding conditions.
|
| Project Cases |
The wide-mouth bottle format is suitable for individual feeding programs on commercial sheep farms, particularly during intensive lambing periods when orphan, weak or supplementary-fed animals require additional milk feeding.
Multiple bottles can be organized with compatible bottle racks to streamline feeding workflows. The equipment can be incorporated into lambing rooms, nursery areas and young-stock management systems alongside livestock panels, lambing pens and other farm equipment.
