| Working Principle |
The electronic ear tag stores a unique identification code. When the animal passes within the reading field of a compatible RFID reader, the reader detects the tag and captures its identification number.
The collected ID can then be associated with animal information such as breeding events, pregnancy diagnosis, vaccination, treatment, weighing, feeding or movement records. This creates a digital connection between the individual animal and the farm management system.
