| Product Overview | The Pump Veterinary IV Administration Set is a disposable fluid delivery assembly designed for use with compatible veterinary infusion pumps and animal fluid therapy systems. It provides a controlled pathway for administering intravenous fluids, medications, electrolytes, and other veterinarian-prescribed solutions to animal patients. The set can incorporate a vented drip chamber, transparent flexible tubing, pump-compatible tubing section, flow-control clamps, medication access ports, and a rotating Luer lock connector. The clear fluid pathway provides convenient visual monitoring during preparation and infusion. It is suitable for veterinary hospitals, animal clinics, livestock treatment facilities, breeding centers, research institutions, farm veterinary teams, distributors, and commercial animal-health projects. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle | The spike connects the administration set to the prescribed fluid container. After the drip chamber and tubing are correctly primed to remove air, the pump-compatible tubing section is installed into the appropriate veterinary infusion pump according to the equipment manufacturer's operating instructions. During operation, the infusion pump controls movement of fluid through the flexible tubing at the programmed rate. The drip chamber provides visual confirmation of fluid movement, while clamps and access ports assist with line management and treatment procedures. The distal Luer lock connects to a compatible IV catheter or veterinary extension line. Pump calibration and administration-set compatibility should always be confirmed before clinical use. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Before use, verify that the administration set is compatible with the selected veterinary infusion pump and prescribed fluid container. Inspect the sterile package and do not use the product if the packaging or fluid pathway is damaged. Connect the spike to the fluid source, partially fill the drip chamber, and prime the complete tubing pathway according to veterinary clinical procedures. Install the specified pump tubing section correctly into the infusion pump and confirm that the line is free from air before connection to the animal patient. Disposable administration sets are intended for single-patient use. They should not be cleaned or reprocessed for reuse. Used sets should be discarded according to veterinary clinical and local waste-management requirements. |
