Product Overview The Standard Livestock Manure Screw Press Separator mechanically divides pumpable manure slurry into a solid fraction and a liquid fraction. It is suited to routine solid-liquid separation at commercial pig farms, dairy facilities and agricultural biogas plants. The separator can be integrated with an upstream collection tank and feed pump, a liquid return or storage line, and a designated area for collecting separated solids.

Structural Components A typical separator includes a feed inlet, screw press, cylindrical screen, separation housing, geared motor, liquid outlet, solids discharge and mounting frame. The screen, screw, wear surfaces and discharge mechanism are specified for the selected duty. A feed pump, collection hopper, piping and control panel may be included in the wider separation system.
Working Principle Mixed slurry enters the separator and passes into the screened section. Liquid flows through the screen openings to a collection outlet. The rotating screw carries retained solids toward the discharge, where compression expels additional liquid before the solids leave the machine. Results vary with feed consistency, fiber content, screen selection and operating settings.

Installation & Maintenance Install the separator on a stable, level support with access to the screen, screw, drive and discharge. Coordinate the feed pump and inlet arrangement to provide a suitable, consistent slurry supply. Route the separated liquid to its intended tank or treatment stage and provide space to remove solids. During operation, monitor screen fouling, screw wear, seals and the solids discharge. Isolate power and feed flow before opening the machine for service.
