Product Name Visual Cattle Gastroscope Magnet Retriever
Product Image Visual Cattle Gastroscope Magnet Retriever for Rumen Foreign Body Removal
Product Overview

The Visual Cattle Gastroscope Magnet Retriever is a veterinary instrument designed for internal observation of the bovine upper digestive tract and retrieval of ferromagnetic foreign bodies from the rumen or reticulum. It combines a high-definition camera, display screen, magnetic retrieval probe and air channel in one portable system.

The long flexible operating tube allows trained veterinary personnel to visually inspect internal conditions while the magnetic probe attracts iron wire, nails and other ferromagnetic objects. Photo and video recording functions support examination documentation, case review and livestock health management.

Product Gallery Product configurations include a portable carrying case, integrated display and control unit, long flexible operating tube, 1-megapixel camera, magnetic retrieval probe, air channel and long and short gastric lavage tubes. The visual system allows real-time observation while performing examination or foreign-body retrieval.
Key Features
  • Visual Examination: Integrated display provides real-time observation of the bovine digestive tract during professional examination.
  • 1MP HD Camera: 3.9 mm camera with approximately one million pixels provides clear internal images.
  • Magnetic Foreign-Body Retrieval: Strong magnetic probe attracts ferromagnetic objects such as iron wire, nails and metal fragments.
  • Long Operating Tube: Approximately 1950 mm working length provides access suitable for adult cattle.
  • Integrated Air Channel: Blowing function can help clear mucus or material that obstructs the camera view.
  • Photo and Video Recording: Supports image capture and video recording for case documentation and review.
  • 16GB Storage: Memory card provides convenient storage of examination images and videos.
  • Rechargeable Battery: 5200 mAh battery provides approximately four hours of operating time.
  • Portable Veterinary System: Supplied with a carrying case and accessories for farm and field veterinary applications.
Working Principle

The flexible operating tube is introduced orally by trained veterinary personnel and advanced through the esophagus toward the rumen or reticulum. The integrated camera transmits real-time images to the display, allowing the operator to observe internal conditions and locate suspected foreign material.

When a ferromagnetic foreign body is identified, the magnetic probe attracts the metal object so it can be withdrawn with the instrument. The air channel can be activated when mucus or surrounding material interferes with visibility. Proper restraint, lubrication and veterinary technique are required to minimize trauma during use.

Product FAQ

Q: What is the main purpose of this cattle gastroscope?
It is designed for visual examination of the bovine digestive tract and magnetic retrieval of suitable ferromagnetic foreign bodies.

Q: Can it remove nails and iron wire from a cow's stomach?
The magnetic probe is designed to attract ferromagnetic materials such as iron wire, nails and similar metal fragments when they can be safely reached and retrieved.

Q: Does the device provide real-time images?
Yes. The integrated camera and display allow real-time visual observation during professional examination.

Q: Can examination images be recorded?
Yes. The system supports both photographs and video recording and includes 16GB storage.

Q: What is the camera resolution?
The camera provides approximately one million pixels and has a diameter of approximately 3.9 mm.

Q: What should be done if mucus blocks the camera view?
The integrated air channel can provide airflow toward the camera area to help clear mucus or surrounding material that interferes with visibility.

Q: How long can the device operate on one charge?
The 5200 mAh battery provides approximately four hours of continuous working time under typical conditions.

Q: Can farm workers use it without veterinary training?
Oral insertion into the bovine digestive tract carries a risk of pharyngeal or esophageal injury, so the instrument should be operated by appropriately trained veterinary or livestock-health personnel.

Q: Is this device only a magnet retriever?
No. In addition to magnetic foreign-body retrieval, the integrated camera, display, air channel and recording functions support visual observation and documentation of cattle gastrointestinal conditions.
