Product Overview

Veterinary Tissue Forceps are reusable surgical instruments designed for grasping, holding, retracting and manipulating tissue during animal surgical procedures. The spring-action thumb handle provides direct tactile control, allowing veterinarians to regulate gripping pressure according to the tissue type and procedure.

Manufactured from durable stainless steel, the forceps are available with straight or angled profiles and different gripping-tip configurations. Serrated and toothed jaws provide reliable tissue control for veterinary surgery, wound closure, dissection and general clinical procedures.

Key Features
  • Precision Tissue Control: Designed to securely grasp and manipulate tissue during veterinary surgery and wound treatment.
  • Spring-Action Thumb Handle: Provides direct opening and closing control without a ratchet locking mechanism.
  • Stainless-Steel Construction: Durable material provides good strength, corrosion resistance and long service life when properly maintained.
  • Serrated or Toothed Tips: Different jaw patterns are available to suit delicate, general or firmer tissue handling requirements.
  • Straight and Angled Options: Different profiles support access to various surgical sites and working angles.
  • Non-Slip Thumb Grip: Ribbed handle surfaces help improve instrument control during procedures.
  • Reusable Instrument: Suitable for repeated veterinary procedures after proper cleaning and sterilization.
  • Wide Veterinary Application: Suitable for livestock surgery, wound closure, dissection and general animal treatment.
Working Principle

The forceps are held between the thumb and fingers. Applying pressure to the spring-action handles closes the jaws around the selected tissue, while reducing pressure allows the jaws to reopen. Serrated or toothed tips increase grip and help stabilize tissue during manipulation, dissection or suturing.
