Product Overview Veterinary Suture Needles are designed for wound closure, tissue approximation and general suturing procedures in livestock and other animals. The traditional eyed design allows compatible suture material to be threaded through the needle according to the surgical requirement.

Multiple needle shapes are available to meet different access conditions and tissue types. Curved needles provide controlled rotation through tissue, while straighter configurations are useful where direct access is available.

Key Features
  • Multiple Needle Shapes: Straight, half-curved and curved configurations can be selected for different veterinary procedures.
  • Eyed Design: Traditional needle eye allows the operator to thread compatible suture material as required.
  • Sharp Penetration: Precision-formed needle points support controlled passage through appropriate tissue.
  • Curved Needle Control: Curved designs can be rotated through tissue using a compatible surgical needle holder.
  • Multiple Point Options: Cutting, reverse-cutting or taper-point configurations can be supplied according to application.
  • Veterinary Application: Suitable for livestock surgery, wound closure and routine animal treatment procedures.
  • Custom Configuration: Needle curvature, size, point type and packaging can be selected according to purchasing requirements.
Working Principle Compatible suture material is passed through the eye of the needle. The needle is then controlled directly or with a veterinary needle holder and guided through the tissue according to the selected suturing technique.

Curved needles move through tissue by controlled rotation along the needle arc, making them useful in confined surgical areas. The selected suture is then tightened and secured according to the veterinary wound-closure procedure.
