Key Features
  • 500W Heating Power: Provides rapid heat generation for efficient livestock disbudding procedures.
  • High-Conductivity Copper Tip: Copper heating head transfers heat efficiently and provides stable contact around the horn bud.
  • Stainless Steel Housing: Durable metal body provides strength and protection for the internal heating components.
  • Gun-Style Ergonomic Design: Pistol-grip handle provides convenient control and positioning during operation.
  • Ventilated Housing: Multiple ventilation openings help dissipate heat from the main body during use.
  • Suitable for Young Livestock: Designed for calves and lambs with developing horn buds.
  • Compact and Portable: Easy to carry between calf barns, lambing areas and veterinary work stations.
  • Simple Electric Operation: Connects directly to a compatible power supply without batteries or compressed air.
  • Professional Farm Application: Suitable for dairy farms, beef cattle farms, sheep farms, veterinary teams and livestock service providers.
Working Principle

After the electric dehorner reaches the required operating temperature, the heated copper tip is positioned around the horn bud. Controlled heat cauterizes the horn-producing tissue surrounding the bud, preventing normal horn growth when the procedure is performed correctly at the appropriate age.

Disbudding is a veterinary livestock procedure and should be performed by trained personnel using appropriate animal restraint, pain management, hygiene and postoperative observation in accordance with local animal welfare requirements.

Product FAQ

Q: What animals is this electric dehorner designed for?
It is designed primarily for young calves and lambs with developing horn buds.

Q: What is the rated power?
The current product specification lists a rated power of 500W with a 220V electrical supply.

Q: What material is the heating tip made from?
The heating head is manufactured from copper, providing good thermal conductivity and rapid heat transfer.

Q: What age of animals can be treated?
The SHEWUYOU specification lists an approximate range of 15 to 70 days for calves and lambs. Actual suitability should be determined by horn development and veterinary guidance.

Q: Is this product used for adult cattle horns?
