Product Name Automatic Chick Brooding Cage System
Product Image Automatic Chick Brooding Cage System for Commercial Poultry Farms
Product Overview The Automatic Chick Brooding Cage System is designed for the intensive rearing of day-old chicks and young pullets during the early growth stage. The multi-tier cage structure provides an organized environment for feeding, drinking, flock inspection and manure management while making efficient use of poultry-house space.

Each standard cage section is approximately 1200 mm long. The supporting structure uses hot-dip galvanized sheet with a zinc coating of approximately 275 g/m², while the cage mesh is also hot-dip galvanized for improved corrosion resistance and long service life. The system can be integrated with automatic feeding, automatic drinking and automatic manure removal equipment for commercial poultry farms.

Key Features
  • Designed for Chick Rearing: Suitable for day-old chicks and young pullets during the brooding and early rearing stages.
  • Hot-Dip Galvanized Structure: The cage frame uses galvanized sheet with an approximate zinc coating of 275 g/m² for improved corrosion resistance.
  • Durable Galvanized Mesh: Hot-dip galvanized cage wire is designed for long-term use in humid poultry-house environments.
  • Stage-Adapted Feeding: Two feeder configurations can be used according to chick age and growth stage.
  • Adjustable Feed Access: Adjustable plates help control chick access to the feeder as body size increases.
  • Uniform Drinking Supply: Pressure-regulated nipple drinking equipment helps provide stable water distribution throughout the cage row.
  • Automatic Feeding Option: Integrated feed distribution reduces manual labor and improves feeding consistency.
  • Automatic Manure Removal: Manure removal equipment helps maintain cage hygiene and reduce routine cleaning labor.
  • Space-Efficient Layout: Multi-tier installation increases rearing capacity per poultry-house floor area.
  • Project Customization: Tier quantity, row length, feeding system, drinking system and automation level can be configured according to farm requirements.
Working Principle Chicks are placed in multi-tier cage compartments where feed, water and environmental conditions can be managed systematically. During the early brooding stage, feeders and adjustable access plates are configured to allow young chicks to reach feed easily. As the birds grow, the feeding arrangement can be adjusted to match their body size and feeding behavior.

Water is supplied through pressure-regulated pipelines to nipple drinkers positioned inside the cage compartments. Manure falls through the cage floor and is collected below each tier, where it can be removed by an automatic manure belt or other compatible manure handling equipment. Automatic feed distribution can supply each cage row at scheduled intervals, reducing manual operation and improving management efficiency.

Product FAQ

What is a chick brooding cage system used for?
It is used for intensive housing and management of chicks and young pullets during the early growth stage, providing organized feeding, drinking and manure management.

What is the typical cage section length?
A standard section is approximately 1200 mm long. Other dimensions can be configured according to the poultry-house layout.

Why are different feeders used during chick rearing?
Chicks grow rapidly during the brooding period. Age-adapted feeders and adjustable access plates help maintain convenient feed access at different growth stages.

Does the system include automatic drinking?
Yes. The cage system can use pressure-regulated nipple drinkers to provide a stable and hygienic water supply throughout the cage row.

Can automatic feeding be added?
Yes. Automatic feed distribution equipment can be integrated according to the cage layout, house length and required automation level.

How is manure removed?
Manure passes through the cage floor and can be removed by an automatic manure belt system or another suitable manure handling configuration.

Can the cage system be customized?
Yes. Tier quantity, row length, stocking capacity, feeding equipment, drinking equipment and manure removal systems can be customized for individual poultry projects.

What information is required for a quotation?
